I miss when woke actually just meant like “aware to societal issues and oppression” mainly referring to these issues under an African American experience but later used more broadly as a general awareness to said issues to all oppressed peoples.

I resent it but I know it within my heart that when Gavin Newsom runs for president in 2028 the republicans will have nothing to stop his reckoning. It will be a sight to behold and a terror to unfold. Real neoliberalism hasn’t been tried yet in America and it’s going to be awful when it does.

Finally getting into socialist literature, staring with the Manifesto cause it came bundled with Kapital then I’m gonna do Lenin’s works. After that I was thinkin Leon Trotsky and Stalin, then might swing back around and do more of the Marxian era of socialist literature.
