I can't really afford this, but I'm just gonna have to tighten my belt for a few months. Still, I'm so happy to hear that he doesn't have cancer, it almost doesn't hurt to dish out so much to fix his teeth.

I've had him on a chicken+rice diet over the last two days bc the rimadyl hurt his stomach, and he's actually perked up a bit! he's been following me up and down the stairs, did a little lope outside, even grabbed one of his toys :') maybe delulu, but I wonder if it's been his food all along

I told the vet this, and she was super keen on it :) so, our game plan is to switch his food to a vet rec'd diet and continue addressing his arthritis. gonna check back on his calcium in three weeks to see if it starts dropping 👍
