The Drew of it all is my biggest gripe to date. I'm sure we'll get some hospital bed scene or Ned returning home but not showing Drew finding out it was real? Just awful storytelling.

As an American in the US following a few UK accounts, I find it shocking how similar the situation seems overall. There are many instances when I think a post is from here but nope.

That baby is like Ace. Shouldn't exist. I hate it when a baby gets used as plot point bc there's no foresight into long term storytelling (like for Isiah). That said I'd rather it actually was Curtis's bc he & Portia are containment for me. I'd rather Isaiah & Jordan be free from them.

Fair enough. I honestly don't think the books were meant for normies, but the screen adaptation definitely took off.

So true. All these people act with impunity precisely bc no one is ever held to account. Lulu and cousin Carly are the worst busy bodies of all, never taking No for an answer. And gramps is the local mob boss. Breaking the law was both nature & nurture for him.

My two most beloved ships were Liason & Niz, both of which failed to launch. I'd be open to Niz again depending on the recast but they'll never happen. They really cemented that with how they finished her w/JJ's Lucky this last time. I hope we never ever see JJ or Lucky ever again

I always hated AJ anyway & that was 100% on the writers bc even though I find SK gross (especially when they paired him with Liz), I liked BW. And yet I still couldn't stand the character. So it was a triple whammy for me of a shitty character, icky actor AND they went w/them instead of gorgeous Niz

If the comments are centered around his character then you've got to roll with it and not take it personally. People shouldn't have to tiptoe around the actor's family's feelings. Get over it. But if it's negative commentary about the actor beyond criticizing his acting chops then yeah, not good.

Yeah when I lived there it was very clear: Black people lived in Dorchester & Roxbury. This was over 20 yrs ago, mind you, but that Irish & Italian racism was STRONG!

Tbh I find that everywhere is segregated. I heard this about Boston many moons ago when I lived there but anywhere I've lived since (and it's been lots of places), we're just really divided. Some are just worse.

I've never visited Maine or Vermont, which are almost all white. But I lived in Boston any Black person who's ever had anything to say about Boston has mentioned how much they dislike it bc of its racism & segregation. I can't imagine the other very white new England states are more tolerant!
