Prime 2: Introduced Beam Ammo, World Switching, Luminous NPC's, more story
Hunters: multiplayer-focused game, campaign had multiple planets you could tackle in different orders
Prime 3: Had a crazy Halo/Half-Life style intro sequence, planet hopping, Hypermode, NPC's

There are weird and experimental things in here, sure. But also every Prime game is experimental. It is the most experimental half of the franchise.
Some of the complaints I see feel like people only played Prime 1 and the 2D games lol.

There are weird and experimental things in here, sure. But also every Prime game is experimental. It is the most experimental half of the franchise.
