I live in Cornwall, I read, knit, crochet, sew and find nearly everything interesting.
Just started on The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain.

Same for my parents. Obviously things could change at any moment but I equate it to winning the lottery. I will never take it for granted.

Have they done a risk assessment for the people coming in to the job centre in psychosis or in the middle of a manic episode?

We are going to end up criminalising people for being ill in a public place.

I'm nearly 50. I can walk, do a physical job, get on and off public transport, clean my house, get in and out a bath. At my age neither of my disabled parents could do those things. They lived every day in pain. I am so lucky and I know it.

I'm reading Agatha Christie's Secret Notebooks by John Curran. It's really interesting to see how she worked out her ideas.

That sounds really good!

I cared for my son for many years as a single parent. Last year he moved into assisted living. I've just returned to work at nearly 50 with no pension, no savings, a lot of debt. I don't regret caring for my son but I won't pretend it didn't come at a cost both financially and to my mental health.

I know people who even with the best will in the world just cannot work. Their health is just not good enough. This is just cruel.
