A bit of joy for the timeline-Last night I had the pleasure of getting to see Kaveh Akbar speak in Indy. Martyr! was my favorite book of 2024. Kaveh was warm, funny, and talked about writing in a way that left me feeling so inspired and energized.

Today is Lucy’s gotcha day. It’s our first one since she passed and while I’m glad we had 12 amazing, wild years with her it’s a little bittersweet. If it snows today you should all know she probably sent it our way❄️❄️

Hi please appreciate this ornament that I got in a holiday book exchange for my local book club. I am obsessed and felt all the love in that room. 2024 has been pretty shit but the girls I’ve met in CPP have made the year bright.
