I once was invited to a wedding, i.e. folks who should actually know me better, and for my name on the seating arrangements they got exactly one letter right: the G. They had me down as "Ungan". I am getting this kind of stuff so much, I still instantly knew it was me.

Yay, thank you for your kind words. I find the novel and its two adaptations absolutely fascinating but the Fassbinder film is the superior version of those three... albeit so unusual and unique that it may not be for everyone.

Oh, then you're the first person I know who has watched it. I hadn't even heard of it until this podcast. It just came up as a second adaptation of the same novel that WORLD ON A WIRE is based on which we had covered last week. Let me know what you think of the episode.
