thanks! i know i have others that are probably closer with better clarity (lots of robins AND salmonberries in our yard), but this was the first i found and it cracks me up. how he manages to hold onto most of the berry while performing his other antics is impressive.

gorgeous! you really captured her eye.
if you'd like more folks to see it, might i suggest deleting and re-posting with ALT descriptions on the pics (can be very simple) and capitalizing each word in the hashtags; TheLastUnicorn. Bsky is really into considering the visually impaired ☺️

thanks Erin! it's difficult to find cut purple flowers this time of year (most are orange, brown, and red), so he was thrilled when he finally found some 💜

band-tailed #pigeons, our PNW native forest pigeon,
are huge! here they are trying to get seed from a songbird feeder.
(close-up photo in main post, this is a reply since can't post video & photos together on Bluesky, yet)

your bluebirds are so cute! our "blue birds," Steller’s jays, are majestic, but loud and obnoxious. i felt they're much more like corvids than thrushes, so looked it up and they are! they totally sound like crows sometimes. cool to know they're in the same family!

floofy beauty.
and i didn't realize robins are thrushes, but, of course they are!
