celebrated a milestone birthday this week. instead of buying a florist's arrangement, my guy went to 5 different stores to find as many of my fave flowers as he could. and then created this bday bouquet of love 💜

red-orange ripe salmonberry next to green unripe berries surrounded by green foliage. we have loads of native salmonberry canes in our yard with loads of berries. but, we also have loads of robins who like to raise their young here and LOVE salmonberries. they're actually my least favorite (they're seedy w/o much flavor) of our berries, but they are the first to ripen each spring so it's a nice treat to find 1 the robins have left. 3 turquoise robin eggs in a brown straw nest surrounded by green dwarf Spruce needles/branches
