Most of today's newspaper front pages were awful. But one managed to buck the trend and say that someone who deliberately avoids tax is worse than someone who made a mistake.

If only every paper led like this.

The year is 2025. There are many more sophisticated and modern games out there than I could ever hope to play in one lifetime. I could be chipping away at them. But, no.

Instead, I am trying to beat Martello Tower. A game I last played when I still probably only had a single digit in my age.

That awkward moment watching a Baddiel stand-up show on Sky when I realise the person doing the subtitles is clearly far younger than I am.
David Baddiel is in the middle of a routine. The subtitles read: "Thank fuck I didn't go for a Jimmy Cranky joke, that's all I can say." They have typed it as Cranky (with a C and y) instead of Krankie (with a K and and i e).

It's not every day you see what appears to be a page from a Tintin book stuck to the back of a decrepit train carriage.

The sort of horror that has me wake up screaming in a cold sweat.

I have no choice but to shelve these books where I can never see them.
Four volumes of a manga series, Azumanga Daioh on a bookshelf. There are only four volumes, all these are first editions - but the spine design elements don't like up fully across any of them! Going down the spine we have: The top of each spine says "Vol x" against a dark background, but the extent the background goes down the spine increases with each volume. On the first two volumes the title is a large size. On the next two it is a small size. The word creator appears underlined, with different thickness of underlining. It only lines up across two spines, and those two have different underlinings. The author's name is aligned across the first two spines, but not the last two. Volume 1 has no volume number, just an image of a character. Volume 2 has the volume number above an image of a character. Volume 3 has the volume number below an image of a character. The volume number is also significantly larger than volume 2's number. Volume 4 has the volume number above an image of a character, but the number is higher than all the others, sized between the sizes of 2 and 3, and has a differently coloured background. And while 2 and 3 have the numbers next to the character, 4 has a big gap. I hate all of this so much. At the very bottom even the company logo isn't consistent. It looks compressed on the first volume, tiny on the second volume, and inconsistent across the last two.
