Today in 1882, Robert Kerr was born in Ireland. He came to Canada with his family when he was five & settled in Hamilton.
In 1908, he won a gold & bronze medal at the Olympics in the 200 & 100 metres.
A WW1 veteran, he later coached athletics & football.
He died in 1963.
