My preteen wrote his representative. He said he watched Mike Johnson's statements, but that he doesn't hate America, wants people to follow laws, and doesn't want boats blown up. I did have to remind him that our representative body is Congress, not Parliament (too much British history). #nokings

The staff at my rep. said he hasn't signed Massie's discharge petition because he wants to protect victims who were/are minors, but he does support the release of the files. #epsteinfiles Is there any validity to this? What exactly would the petition, if successful, do that could harm victims?

Does anyone know why Alt National Park doesn't post totals through the day of sign events? It was encouraging to see the growing total on No Kings and other early events and it seems like now I can't find posts at all with photos or numbers from different towns and states.

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.
