Looking into the price history for SM2, it does look like Steam occasionally has the best price but only for very short periods of time. Steam did mark the then historical low only once, around March 5 2025 but only for 5 days before it got bested by another store.

What's notable about this is you never hear official statements about how denuvo causes problems in running a game, either as one offs or otherwise. Not counting how W11 helped in this specific bed shitting.
