Action cameras (GoPro if you need a a named brand) go for about 40-60 bucks and come with all it the accessories necessary to mount it

Is it because of living so much in a capitalist society we think that effectiness is related to how expensive it is?

I mean why are we still using phones and cameras to record things while law enforcement have body cams?
