I'd like to announce that I'm pivoting to media criticism. Here is my critique of the media. It sucks ass. Having registered this critique I'm now pivoting back to songs about the true nature of prophecy & books where there was maybe a ghost but you're not entirely sure

Every few years people re-discover that a lot of romance novels are smut and get really shocked that a lot of women like pornagraphy. Like yes. Some adult humans like erotica. The horror of it all.

In fantasy you always see that thing where the wizard is surrounded by a mess of books, an impossibly vast library, stacks of books just everywhere.

What they never really show is the scribe infrastructure necessary to make all those books.

"If there's a lot of emdashes, that's not a real writer, it's a robot!"

Writers: Lol. yeah, okay, how about I emdash my foot up your--

Authors, if you see this, it’s a sign to NOT post the first line of your book where it can be scraped like everything else online. That the A I goons are going to feed it all into their rusty blenders doesn't mean you have to make it easy for them.

This goes double for a WIP.
