Soak in water for an hour or so, before putting them in the fridge. If the shrivel before you use them, soak them again. It is best to leave them in the ground or at the store until you need them. Keep in mind that at the store, they are either in a package or getting spritzed to keep them fresh.

I've used them to make yummy tea, but I have never tried just biting them off the twig. Now I feel challenged to try it. :)

I used to candy violets as a child, the idea brings back fond memories. If I remember right, I used lightly beaten egg white and powdered sugar and allowed them to dry naturally. Now days, I find they are fun frozen into ice cubes, or used for sun tea with a few leaves of mint.

I'm so sorry. I lost my 'little' brother a few years ago. I felt so stretched out for a while, like part of me was following him over the rainbow bridge and part of me was still stuck here on Earth. But it wasn't my time, and he had been suffering.

The Wild Cress post includes information on when and where this little plant can be found, it’s flavor and nutrition profile, how it can be used, where it shouldn’t be gathered, and how to ensure that it will come back next year.

Our Congress Members, generally speaking, cannot bring a case to court on our behalf. To sue in court, you need 'standing.' This generally means you have experienced a loss that was caused by the person, entity, business, or agency you are suing.
