I've read coverage much like this on the Madison school killings for 30 years by now. It is both compassionate and well-informed, providing the public with vital facts on the tragedies. Is there any indication that the reporting reduces the number of killings and perpetrators' suicides?

Visited Utøya on Sunday, the small island where a Norwegian terrorist killed 69 people in 2011, 32 of them under 18 years old. He wanted to start racist warfare and will in all likelihood die in prison. A place for reflection.
