Known under another name for decades, nom de plume from now on.
Student loans were sold as opportunity and acted like predatory debt. Linda and Nicholas can keep moralizing; some careers lean more on alliances than merit. Aligning with exclusionary and authoritarian power teaches its own lessons. Even Elon has shown how that goes.
Trump administration moves to end major student loan forgiveness plan: 'We won't tolerate it'
The Department of Education has moved to terminate one of former President Joe Biden's most popular student loan forgiveness plans.

Kroger is becoming a glorified 7-11. Spent 30 min grabbing ingredients to try a gluten free lasagna recipe, only to find the noodle aisle had 3 GF brands but zero GF lasagna noodles. Their app claimed #BarillaGFLasagnaNoodles were in stock. They weren't. I put everything back & left. Krogerisawful.

Trump being onboard with the release of the files signals to me the incriminating evidence against him has been removed. They can release the files but I doubt what they expect to find will be be there. www.npr.org/2025/11/18/n...

President Trump has pushed back against releasing the files, but shifted course over the weekend after it became clear the measure was likely to pass the House.

How ironic that the nation’s most unpopular coin is finally retired. If only Congress would retire the nation’s most unpopular president.

There’s plenty of excitement around Wilson at the moment. While she may echo some of Mamdani’s ideals, her practical experience is more in line with what Donald Trump brought to office in his first term. Next year’s budget pressures will show how that plays out.

I was on the bus when schools let out today. Almost every kid looked like it was laundry day wearing some form of sweatpants, hoodies, sweatshirts, and sweaters. When did rolled out of bed become an acceptable dress code?

Things I miss: buying a gallon of milk for $2, buying a loaf of white bread (store brand) for a $1, when $10 would buy you a nice lunch, and when $3 would buy you a "handcrafted" espresso drink.

The cracks are starting to show. Fetterman’s move wasn’t a surprise, but it shows how little effort there’s been to work with Democrats in other states. It’s not clear if anyone even tried. The lack of strategy is becoming obvious. www.politico.com/news/2025/11...

Of all the people in the Cabinet, Hegseth is probably the last one who should have the power to fire anyone. He’s exactly the kind of person PIPs were designed for. His best performance barely scratches the surface of what most would consider a "fair"performance. share.google/fXKdpqHXoet8...

Looked into the Cracker Barrel logo drama, and I’m baffled. This is what people are losing their minds over? We’ve got a government bankrupting its citizens, locking up anyone who isn’t white, and there are whispers of martial law. We’re in crisis, and yet, this is where the outrage is aimed? Oy vey

Hopefully the UN can do what Congress refuses and act with urgency. Congress’s response to Trump’s authoritarianism is as weak as his pandemic response. This is the cost of power in the hands of the greedily geriatric and morally bankrupt.
