the public analytics show a pretty massive gap between the actual PK (2nd) and the expected PK (28th) suggesting the gap is primarily Lyon making timely saves. It still looks better schematically to me though, but I'm not enough of a hockey mind to know why. What do you see?

I mean yea that would be preferred, but the context of the quote is that he's lamenting their inability to bounce back from a bad first in the second.

I agree, I just don't think many of the FLA chances last night had that extra time and space – BUF PK clogged up lanes like crazy. If the model accounts for time and the position of the other players I guess my eye test is wrong, but if it's a blanket bonus factor I think it overestimated this game.
