Your gig list on the blog must be a great memory aid. I' m down to ticket stubs(not always available but check out what Tim Burgess recently posted on making your own!) and time addled memory. However , there was my awful photos at gigs phase so I ll sign off with these. Thanks for the original post

It's a great little remnant of a time with a lovely side 2.

Great single. Mine came with a live flexi of one of my favorites by them. Got to say your earlier post featured quite the underrated classic. Have a good day.

I have the Shop Assistants album and that single. For me they were the absolute epitome of the C86 whatchamacallit. They wrote catchy simple songs often hiding glorious guitar lines. When I saw them live they cruised along beautifully.
Promoter thought they were an alternative cabaret act though!

I was taken by my Mam to see Santa at Shepard's of Gateshead in the early 70s...if I had been around 10 years earlier, she could have taken me with her to see the popular beat combo on your record at Sunderland Empire. I Love local shop record sleeves.

Whistler, actually Blackcomb mountain. Expensive Lift pass, reasonably priced beer, some lovely people and actually quite nice conditions. #whistler

Emily Carr would have painted this storm or described it in beautiful prose.
