So glad I learned how to make my own gizmo plugins for Godot.
I've made so many to help with the project.
Even though I implemented them wrong and I still don't know how to add my inputs to the Undo system. it speeds up my workflow significantly, visual input on what my values do is crazy useful.

Holy so many followers!! I've never had this many before on any site! I was at 20 ish followers last upload. Huge thanks to @doomski.bsky.social for adding me to their starterpack.
I was gonna say something at 100, then it went to 200, and it's still climbing 😅 much love to Doomski!

Sorry I havent uploaded! I'm a bit slow but getting faster with the tools. The tutorial level still needs work, but it's way better than where it started!
Also had to spend some time ironing out bugs with the dynamic level loader.
(hopefully the video loads this time, bluesky was having trouble)

Got some dynamic level loading in for both optimization and having rooms that are a bit too big in spaces it shouldn't fit.
Can't show too much from now on. But I am making steady progress.
I'm also dealing with scope creep, so I'll try to push myself to just get a small demo ready at some point.

Been a while since I've posted here. I put my old project to rest, couldn't find the fun in it and learned how to better use Godot which urged me to start a fresh project.
I was posting my stuff on twitter, but I'll steadily push to have stuff on this site as well.

Haven't uploaded for a bit, been trying to find a style I want for the city I'm making. Also learning the graphics side of Godot a bit more. I'm gonna try and make a push to get this working with the procedural system.
I already got a way to input nodes/scenes into it, which I made a week ago.

Got the generator to properly align the pathways. And connect at the right angle!

Finding the angles needed for the wedges was an ordeal, but I got it!!

Finally got the tiles to place in the correct arrangements.

Had to change how I was storing the vertices a bit and spent some time trying to craft an elegant solution.
However, it's not so elegant yet... the 3 edged vertices have weird rotations... 😭

A tile set I'm gonna try to implement into my city grid generator.

This is just for the nodes themselves and I'll make a different set that'll be the connections/ roads between the intersections.

Just finished my newest Blender Scene.
An animated environment. The water moves, the little rock golem moves. The grass sways in the wind.

All rendered in eevee for those sweet sweet render times.
Now I can start working on other projects.

I finally used Blenders Nonlinear Animation block stuff. It gave me an epiphany... How come I didn't use this earlier?? 😭

A work in progress environment I'm working on. Didn't want to just keep this account bare 😅

A lot of shaders, geometry nodes, render pass manipulation and other tech art stuff going on to make this all possible.
