I was 12 when I read IT. I should probably revisit it, as it’s been 36 years - but it made a hell of an impact on me!

If it is so irrelevant, then why would Cattle Futures drop dramatically after the news?
The market knows this is bad for US producers.

Kinda. There were 10,000 submissions for the flag referendum and it didn’t make it. It has since developed a cult following though.

The Union Jack in the corner contains the red cross of Saint George.

I am assuming that is the Christian reference.

I have yet to experience this coffee ice cream milkshake deliciousness you describe (iced coffee has always meant coffee with ice to me). Now I must find out where I can get this.

Working to rule is hard as a teacher. Let’s say you only have time to prepare for some lessons for the week.
What do you do with the students during the down time? Which lessons do you prepare the materials for, the lessons that will keep the kids busy the longest or those with the most academics?

I really think a lot of New Zealanders don’t understand that US media isn’t just “polarised”; that there are huge swaths of seemingly reputable media sources that outright lie and omit facts that don’t match their narrative. If you don’t realise this it could be easy to be blindsided.

I know the post is about the housing; but imo the Amelia Earhart thing is because Purdue University is licking the boots of the current administration and this is a bone getting thrown to them.

Wtf? The question is who at RNZ is interested in pushing the US right-wing narrative? Because there really is no other explanation.

What? You mean people who medically neglect their children have a much lower rate of their children receiving an autism diagnosis, which can only be done by the doctors that they refuse to take their children to see?

Who could possibly have predicted such a thing?
