Carpenter, writer, married, building a cabin on an island, which I will never finish because I've been working on it so long that I don't know what else to do with myself, so I make up new projects instead of relaxing, and since I'm old, they take forever.

Hmm. All I get is a quick glimpse of the page you posted, then an Error 404 message. Searching on the BBC site gives the same message. Maybe it's a UK-only show at this point. Or maybe the BBC is (understandably) annoyed with America right now.

Thanks for checking.

You'll never regret it. And make sure you check out Lake Superior.

Good editorial by the NYTimes editorial board. I hope they pass it along to the news department, who've been sanewashing Trump for years.

The Old House Journal used to have a monthly feature called “Remuddling of the Month” (or something like that), which featured photos of elegant old houses that had been updated in horrifyingly tasteless ways.

My dentist has an overhead tv that plays home improvement shows to distract patients during root canals and crowns, but for me it just amplifies the discomfort. Best to switch the channel.
