Ordinary members of the public work like dogs and yet never get to step foot in, let alone live in, Sandringham. Most of us are barely getting by, and are financially devastated when we can't work. Most of us won't retire until we are in our mid to late 70s.

Poor Prince Andrew, who if he were anyone else would be rotting in a prison cell, is having to give up his god-given birthright of being a prince, and is instead destined to live in this pit. What a punishment.

My uncle took this photo yesterday. The blue building, entirely gone. Lucky that the yellow building survived and that a neighbour called the emergency services as it burnt overnight and the tenants were sleeping in the main house

As if not enough bad luck for one year, here’s our brand new garage and sauna today. The build wasn’t quite finished and unsure if insurance will cover any of it. Sigh. FML.

Mochi cat is concerned about the rain situation. Look at her face. I said LOOK AT HER FACE.

Are other cities as hostile to pedestrians as Bristol? Short walk home from the hospital but footpaths closed without any warning meaning I need to constantly walk back on myself.

Thank goodness the online learning platform has this option of using AI to generate test questions for students.... sigh

Enitre job advert reads as if generated by ChatGPT and then this is the application process. Requires PhD to be eligible. Ewww. No thanks.

(I am not actually looking for jobs)

Yeah the driver unilaterally decided to take a scenic route which meant I arrived late to my appointment with my surgeon and I’ve been charged £10 more than I bargained for. Uber is just great

I haven’t been allowed baths since start of chemo, and I’m now getting in for my first post chemo bath. This is making me happy beyond words

When perception is not reality - check out our new paper on metacognitive skills and academic performance in engineering students.

Here’s the wonderful Dalila Avdic presenting this work at #SEFI25 in Finland

Are you at #SEFI25 wondering about group work? Drop by our poster and find out how we designed a novel group project approach to dissertations for postgraduate engineers and how it went. We think planning group projects is group work and industry partners should be involved.

She was asking to go outside although we all know she didn’t really want to go, she just wanted to make a point that I’m a bad mum for keeping the door closed

Had my latest chemo on 4th September and I keep getting palpitations (I’ve had an ECG and echo since, my heart is ok). This is what it’s done to my resting heart rate. And apart from Friday, yesterday and today when I’ve had short gentler walks, I haven’t done any physical activity whatsoever

She was hiding under the bed from the cat sitter until she realised she knew the cat sitter and this one actually is rather generous with the dreamies. That’s her face realising she will be given dreamies today.

Thank you, yeah I think being vegan is a part of the problem. They ask about it but then serve whatever. I actually did get a porridge in the end and they found me a (non vegan) sandwich. The porridge was exactly what I needed

Third time I am having an overnight stay at this NHS hospital and 3rd time I’m left without food. I had a slice of toast around 1pm, and now I’ve been told hot food is no longer served so no dinner. Part reason I need up in this state is because I didn’t eat or drink for a few days.

Oh no, now she is worried about structural integrity! She looks shocked!
