Id probably go Tel for Richy also.

I don’t think our issue is our 3! young promising 8s not being great passers. Personally Id be training Gray for the 6, behind Bentancur and Bissouma (when healthy), and giving Tel and Odobert more overall minutes.

Again the myth of last year was that our core group was open. Never open when actual defenders played.

I don’t love Paratici’s renewed involvement as head decision maker
November 8, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Yeah I think it’s silly to build a top 5 ambition PL side around 30 year old Palhinha. He’s a guy you bring in on loan to close out matches or to shield when your FBs and attackers are extra attacking.

Almost exactly the same place we were in after the Kudus signing, which is the most frustrating piece.
November 8, 2025 at 4:33 PM
This feels like solid game management but bad man management
November 4, 2025 at 9:22 PM
Agreed, in the cases I’ve seen the comparison to the last manager is less pro/con and more the style of play is so different that it’s inefficient team planning (and also thus far not terribly enjoyable viewing)
November 4, 2025 at 5:10 PM
I was anti moving Ange to begin with but pivoting wildly when we had so many (young talented) players who fit that style was madness.
November 4, 2025 at 1:59 PM
My primary complaint about TEI, I think Nathan is too hard on himself regarding Ange, and I think a 3rd season with Kudus, Xavi, and Danso would have us feeling better at the moment.
November 4, 2025 at 1:46 PM
Interesting, given how things transpired I would have assumed Levy would have had nothing to do with picking the new manager. Just feels like the directive to play regressive football (and extend Bentancur) is all Paratici
November 2, 2025 at 12:30 AM
So much of the last 6 months feels like it has Paratici’s writing on it, which is concerning, because his managerial process has been garbage.

My kiddo will be so excited about this, they asked if you and Sara would be in our area yesterday in between gasps as they dug into Prophecies #3 for the first time. Both days?

Now show some ambition and bring us Savinho and Wharton

It intersects two of my favorite topics lamenting USWNT players leaving the NWSL and disliking Chelsea 🤣

Thought he played well Saturday, for whatever that is worth.
September 2, 2025 at 1:21 PM
If this were true, Saturday’s lineup should have featured Bergvall/Odobert/Tel instead of Bentancur/Sarr/Johnson.

It might feel better when Deki and Solanke return and we start playing twice a week. Also I was hoping to see Tel, Bergvall, and Odobert more. But we’ll see how it goes
