This is what we have to see every day, while struggling for employment, healthcare, housing and being treated like human beings

This is the politics of blackmail. The alternative is not a Reform government. The alternative is maintaining our international commitments to being a compassionate nation

It would be lovely if this helped people find extra useful information. My fear is that they’ll contact authors who’ll say ‘sorry, I’ve been churning out so many articles, are you expecting me to remember anything about this particular one?!’

I did used to like that. But for the last few years I’ve done a Sunday Album Club with a couple of friends where we recommend albums to each other to review (can you guess what day?!) and that’s skewed my Wrapped results anyway!

Actually, my 100 songs from 2024 now has 97 tracks. But they may have been people who left Spotify before I transferred my list across?🤷🏻‍♀️ Or may be people who will use Q if more people do?

If it can deal with Canadian new age, nwobhw and a 2025 uk album then I think you’ll be ok! I had a quick look through my 100+ playlists and couldn’t see any tracks it didn’t have. It had all the ones in the Martin Freeman/Eddie Piller soul one and they’re supposed to be obscure!

Tidal have a bad rating on the BDS list. Try a free trial on Qobuz. They pay artists the most and seems to have the best ethics (I’m not being paid by them!) I don’t know if they’ll send me an end of year round up but that’s always skewed by SAC anyway!

Nothing. All 3 albums from this week are on there. And that was a diverse bunch! So I’m feeling confident I’ll be able to listen to whatever you throw at me. Although maybe hold off on the instrumental options just be safe!

I just won’t be sending you the Spotify link to my choice.

Thanks to @schopflin.bsky.social for pointing out I can get them via Apple on my phone!

I'm on free trial atm but it's £12.99 per month via desktop or £16.99 via my phone. So I went for the desktop version! (Plus you get £5.95 via TopCashback vfm fans.) However, what should I use to listen to podcasts now?
