I received a birthday message from a friend this morning. I thanked him but told him not to pray for me, but pray for the families in this country that will lose their medical coverage. Pray for the legal immigrants who are living in fear of a fascist. Needless to say, he unfriended me on FB.

I want to send a special thank you to the bus driver for not allowing me to get off the bus until it was safe. Apparently, there were 2 unmarked SUVs with flashing lights on driving towards and ultimately passing the bus. We believe that was ICE in good ole NJ!

One thing I've come to believe is that Democratic leaders have to start talking about Republicans the way Republicans talk about Democrats. No more "Our friends on the other side of the aisle" more-in-sorrow-than-in-anger pieties, which everyone hates. Say what they are over and over. It matters.
