There’s still cases where it’s helpful (small indie studios needing funding/manpower for example), but otherwise exclusivity deals at this point are detrimental for major 3rd party releases.

Huh it’s like exclusivity was a major problem or something and all that doom and gloom over ff sales and clowning on series sales etc in comparison was unwarranted given this is one of the best games square has ever released. What do you know.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has reached over 40,000 peak concurrent players on Steam which is the most for any single player Final Fantasy game! 🔥
