Amazingly, I agree with David Brooks today. He quotes these answers to the question "How do you fall in love?", and before I read on I thought: but these are all about how someone sees you, and that's all wrong.

For comparison, in August 2019 there were 31. We're only 19 days into August, but still.

Just for the sake of completeness, here's the relevant definition of significant bodily injury. Try to imagine a Subway sandwich causing any of these things. (I guess it could if it were shot from a cannon at great speed, or maybe attached to an anvil.)
