in the boston area, allston christmas aka moving day is a moving weekend! i dropped by cafe zing to enjoy the low stress vibes. third spaces are a good place to be when your life is still stuck in boxes.

got a freecycle broken roomba a few weeks ago and fixed it. it makes my wife's life easier and now, a week after a leg injury, it means i can do the vacuuming all on my own.

my bike was a cheap impulse purchase that work paid 80% of. it has mismatched wheels and was missing a spacer in the headset for 2 years. of all bikes i have ever owned, it is my favorite.

i got groceries today by renting a @ridecargob.bsky.social urban arrow. the unlock and go; lock and pause experiences were seamless in the app, and getting on it was . . . riding a bike.

i use the elastic band to connect the bag to the bike downward by looping the band through both bag handles. i open the band behind the metal anchor and secure the band over the left grip and past the bell and brake to rest near the stem.

you can bike with ~25 lbs onto either grey or blue @ridebluebikes.bsky.social front baskets: i have found that a box in a handle bag is best for groceries.
