In Scotland our water bills are paid via our council tax. Yes they are not perfect, however, I can’t understand why English people seem to accept private, profiteering companies, charging high payments with little in return, sewage in rivers, waterways and beaches, no investment, but vast profits.

Human rights are universal - if we start stripping away basic human rights from any section of society then none of us has rights – just privileges that can be taken away by people in power whenever they want. Please remember this
