So much to reflect on from Oxford Farming Conference.

The highlight had to be chairing the debate at the @ox.ac.uk Oxford Student Union with these great folk.

Thank you so much Jude Capper, Rob Havard , Colin Ferguson and henrydimbleby.bsky.social

A brilliant evening of debate and laughter.

The day farmers’ protest came to Oxford. 36 tractors line the street outside the Oxford Farming Conference in protest and govt policies around UK farms. #OFC25

Christmas Day walks used to be about me irritating the children by making them stop and pose frequently for happy family festive photos.

Now the tables have turned as Annabel tries desperately to get her feral sister to pose for photos with the dogs on our family walks….

The Dogness Monster.

Roxy seems to have an obsession with wading into water and just standing there. Almost trance-like. Until someone throws a stick….

Went to a carol service that eldest was singing.

Far too early for a carol service; but feel slightly levered into Christmas spirit now.

Meanwhile. The advent calendar of little woolly hats, my Mum knitted for the girls, is installed for another year.

We’ve had the most brilliant couple of days with the #OFC25 Oxford Farming Conference Inspire group of young leaders.

A fantastic visit to the NZ High Commission, inspiring talk from Dame Fiona Reynolds and wonderful hosting from TIAH and BASF as sponsors of the programme.
