They’re so disorienting. I got one at work yesterday and there’s nothing to do but wait it out, but I have found that an rx called sumatriptan works wonders for quelling them. It’s taken as soon as I notice them coming, and it usually makes it go away much faster and with less pain.

Oof! That’s a long time to suffer.

I’ve found that a medication called sumatriptan really helps shut down the auras within 10-15 min. I follow up with a headache powder with caffeine which sometimes helps the pain. Then I just sleep as much as possible and deal with the hangover the next day
