My parents had an environmental testing lab and used to test the sludge that came from the Big Red plant in town. It scared the crap out of me as a kid and I’ve still never tried it and never will.

We all had the sore throat dry cough crud a few weeks ago and now I think my kid has the flu a because she has all the symptoms people are talking about. Hoping my flu shot saves me; she didn’t get hers yet because she didn’t want a sore arm during her swim season and has been sick since it ended.

It’s pretty good!

Some Like It Hot Fuzz

My main issue right now is that I made the jambalaya in the same Dutch oven I usually make the stuffing in! I brought some into work for a friend today, and tonight I’ll pack down whatever is left so I can reuse the pot and make room in the fridge.

My teen and I call them spooders.

My favorite remains Hard Candy Christmas. Love Dolly, love the song, always happy to hear it, but I crack up every time because it’s from Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and sung by the whores!

We upgraded at work and even basic stuff like renaming files in windows explorer and moving them to new folders doesn’t work half the time.

And I HATE that you can’t preview files that were downloaded. It makes my job so much harder for no good reason.

I see one almost daily near my job, and I flip it off with both hands every time.

We have one of those; I joke about needing a J___ to English dictionary. I think my all-time favorite is when he meant to write “Here is the real spec” and it came out “Here I the real ape.”

I also love the delay function on mine. I nearly always set it to run at like 1 am so it’s not using electricity at peak hours or pulling hot water when we’re trying to shower. Plus I don’t have to listen to it!

Exactly what happened to me!

I’ve been getting them for a couple days! I managed to block one of the pages, but it’s hard to do from sponsored ads.

During the first Trump admin I was filming my kid at the playground and caught a conversation in the background of kids worried that their parents would be deported. I dearly hope that hasn’t happened but I wouldn’t be surprised.

Ooh, I loved her books about rogue waves and dolphins! Will have to look her up next time I’m stuck waiting on a ton of library holds to come in.
