A couple came out ok, but the first one is just embarrassing. It had been a loooong day. Still fun to do, though!

Inktober, days 1-4. Themes were mustache, weave, crown, and murky. I really like how weave and murky turned out! The other two were pretty half-assed.

Got my updated flu and Covid shots, and now taking a few minutes to enjoy the fall-ish weather. Work has been hellacious with no chance of improving anytime soon, and I’m exhausted, but at least I can take a few minutes to breathe before jumping into my weekend to-do list.

I had a baby bunny on my patio a couple days ago! I scared it accidentally and it hasn’t been back, but a baby dove has been hanging out for a few days.

It is the end of May and this sucks ass. It’s so cold in my house and on principle I don’t want to turn the heat back on this late in the year, but I might have to give in. I hate this.
Screenshot of my weather app’s 10-day forecast. The current temp is 49 and feels like 44. Daily low temps range from 44-52 for the entire range, with a high of 50 tomorrow and mid-50s the next two days, then finally getting into the 60s next week. There’s also a chance of rain most days. Major bullshit.

Disturbed played two full sets and were so fucking good. I’m reasonably certain David Draiman would have made an excellent cult leader if he hadn’t decided to be a rock star.
Disturbed’s set, lit in a blue-ish green with fog. The background has a metal scaffold, and behind the elevated drum setup there’s a giant inflated version of their mascot “The Guy,” with glowing eyes, a huge red grin, and claws pulling at a crack running down his torso. The singer and his goddamned biceps are at the end of the stage projection.

Not sure if this smoke I saw from the grocery yesterday blew east from the Greenwood Lake fire or if it’s a different one, possibly one of the ones in New Jersey or across the Hudson.

I haven’t been posting most of my Inktober drawings on here because I’m not very good and I’ve been so busy that I’ve seriously half-assed some days, but here are a few that aren’t completely terrible.
