@mothyandthesquid.bsky.social makes such beautiful yarns! This one is so soft and vibrant and I love working with it. "Great Tit" colourway on 4ply / sock yarn, 75% merino and 25% nylon for durability.

Not bad for an evening's work - making a tiny dent in my accidentally massive stash of threads and fabric - but I hope next time I can do it without stabbing my fingers so much! I finished #knitting my dress! I designed and hand-knitted it myself, and it fits absolutely perfectly. Yarn: Yarnsmiths Merino DK on 4mm needles. This took about three weeks to knitting, and another week for me to get my act together, reinforcing the shoulders with woven tape. I'm so pleased!

The colours move in a smooth gradient achieved by knitting twelve rows in one colour, and then alternating it with the next colour for the following eight rows, before working exclusively in the new colour for another twelve rows. I've already started my next #knitting project! This yarn is so beautifully soft, and such a vibrant colour! I never knew how soft #merino wool could be.

I finished my jumper! I'm so pleased with it. It's the first jumper I've knitted for myself. I've knitted them for other people, knitted other things for myself, and crocheted jumpers, but this is the first one I've knitted, and I'm very proud of myself! #knitting #yarn

Very proud of myself for all the #crochet I've done over the last three days: here is the granny hexagon cardigan I started making on Saturday (it's Monday today)! #hexicardigan
