Picture me wondering what the Bsky post for this page was (having read today from RSS), coming onto Bsky, and here you are making light of Stef's Zoobooks-less childhood. smh /j /lh

I'd be a lot better off if I got the darned encyclopedias and the "Lots and Lots of Trains" 1-800 subs. 😤

You: "When is this guy gonna show me a PICTURE. A DRAWING."
Me: *Hiding my burnout-safespace sketchbook behind my back* Yeah gee I wonder innit.

Listen I know capitalism is forcing artists to feel like vending machines for pictures and having your sense of self worth tied to artistic output is a bitch. Just take my hand we’re going into the fucking woods

It's like maintaining the persona of Artist through Content Creation has ironically made me less of an Artist??

*In a way,* in a way.

I constantly feel myself moving towards this quote-post and this TED Talk (www.youtube.com/watch?v=OX3-...).

And I feel like the further I get, like, the faster I'll have more comics and OC media for people to actually consume. It's wild how content creation has *stalled* these things for me…
Artists feel pressured to make new art too quickly at the moment. Normalise artists fucking disappearing for months. Just walk off into the woods for a year and come back with a single sketch. It’s good for you

Imagine the Akira "Leave me ALONE!!!" meme but it's just random people you've never interacted with in your life blocking you one after the other for reasons you don't understand.

I subjected myself to that. For moderation… for free.

All this also means viewers will have to curate their own experience regarding posts or accounts in the feeds that they don't want to see.

Edits to the RegEx that helps them be smart about finding posts that match the topics and excluding the ones that don't will continue to be made though.

I'm also not really going to respond to "I should be in the feed, but I can't find myself! Help!" messages anymore either.

Usually it's just a keyword missing from your post. Check the feed description for help on which keywords to use, then wait for the feed to update.

Real. I'll probably always have some kind of need, or at least a benefit from marketing things where a passerby could potentially stumble upon them. But I gotta do it in a way that guards my health and my creation time. 💭

That's the strat forreal… Finding a healthy way to not brainrot or get hurt while still projecting the appearance of being a standard social media user with a high tolerance for the UX.

Trying to figure out my way… 💭🤞🍀

I'm really looking forward to reading it… 👀
My RSS reader awaits it.
