Such a weird weather year... It's just stopped raining up here in the highlands. Barely 20% of the normal rain since spring. Nice in one respect but it really makes everything a tinderbox.

The overwhelming feeling of using windows 11 for a while is that microsoft are making the Edge browser like an old school malware popup...
....trying so hard but failing to get you to use it.

really enjoying ecosia as a replacement to Chrome. Especially with google search making it seem very familiar. Nice for it not to be spamming me with AI generated (electricity using) results, each search too.....

It's amazing how much sleep affects my mental health.
I've been struggling for a full nights rest for the last 6 months badly.... probably the last year or so if I cast my mind back.
Partly from a lingering cough, partly worry about that cough, then chronic laryngitis from work....

I just worked out that you can turn off the "discovery" feed (ie unpin) from being the first thing that pops up.
Thus eliminating anything other than people i'm following....
Gosh...... it's like i have control over what i'm going to see.....

I've never installed a social media app on my phone..... not fb, twitter, insta..... none....
thinking about doing bluesky..... is it just the same as the web app i'm using now?
