So I heard from the episode.

Does anyone have stats or even estimates of number of dwellings in, say, greater Sydney? I know where to find population estimates but not dwelling numbers, other than the census.

Of course that’s a national average and some areas (large cities, say) I’d expect to have different results. Still! We have FEWER people per available dwelling than we did ten years ago.

- Makes observations on how it applies locally, which is particularly useful when the book focuses on US/UK diaspora and politics and so will most reviews.

Honestly an excellent example of what lengthy critically informed book review can do:

- Explains what the book is and why it’s timely
- Gives an intro to key arguments/insights
- Notes a handful of weaknesses or points left out

For reasons completely unrelated to my gender I know I could seek genetic counselling and who from, because that’s something that happened in my family for y and q reasons. I know my genetic abnormalities, and made my gender choices with that knowledge.

The closing point:

“There was no mention from World Athletics that appropriate genetic counselling should be provided, which is considered necessary prior to genetic testing and challenging to access in many lower- and middle-income countries.”
