I take it there is a theoretical approach which leads to a model of quantum world behaviour explaining all the observed phenomena?

I still think there’s a distinction between understanding about, and understanding it.

Not my area but, is the best understanding not still based on the intellectually unsatisfactory Standard Model, with it gaps in unification still plastered over?
