Mood ...

Damn ... some of the grooves on "Return of the Brecker Brothers" (1992) still make my hair stand on end. I realize that brands me as an old person, but it is what it is.

Well that's the front end of the studio back together. Everything seems to be running OK so I can get back to work. Still can't believe that little silver box under the monitor is running the whole show, and running it better and faster than before. Very impressive.

Yup. Small.

Today's stolen meme ...

Gotta learn how to post video/audio here. First thing I learn is that videos need to be less than 50 MB. In this short clip I try recording a cheapo Squier Bullet Strat that I did some major upgrades on (and tripled the price 😅). The guitar turned out OK and has become a regular player.

The studio is a mess as I prep for the arrival of a new M4 Mac Mini that will take over from the 2019 iMac shown here. Here I'm testing a new 4K monitor that will be used with said M4 Mac (it's fine, but needs some tweaks). Setting up new computers is always a challenge, but kinda fun.

All mods done and the guitar is looking and sounding good.

PRS SE 594 on the bench for some mods: Seymour Duncan ‘59 Model pickups, paper-in-oil caps, and CTS pots. Will roll the fretboard edges and do a setup while I’m at it.

New family member: meet the PRS SE DGT. Playability is excellent, and I am loving the stock pickups. My third PRS SE series guitar, and I haven't been disappointed yet.
