The first four books are the strongest by far. Things after that get…weird, even by Stephen King standards. I haven’t reread the series back to back in a while, so that might make the back half better now.

I'll third the crockpot salsa chicken, which you could adapt with taco seasoning and canned diced tomatoes + chilis so there's less onion for Missy. Budget Bytes is good for easy one pan/pot meals recipes. I also do sheet pan meals with chicken (or chicken sausages), red potatoes, and optional veg.
