Gave up on trying to hit 100 million points in a single hand in Balatro and wound up hitting 177.1 billion instead. Damn! The funny thing is, I couldn’t clear the final hand of Ante 8.

Finally booted up the "Max Gay-ne" mod that I found on an old CD-ROM archive. At first, I was like, "oh, this just kinda makes him look like the Postal Dude."

This game is so much fun! It’s similar to Vampire Survivors, but with an old school CRPG presentation, more developed combat, and a lot of secrets to discover.

8-bit home computers are a huge blind spot for me. Can anyone make some recommendations for games to check out? I am interested in pretty much any genre.

Is there a game that you think is objectively "bad", but you still love playing it? Whether it's poor writing, poor design, buggy, whatever. I love a lot of the old LJN games for the NES, even though they are often brutally unforgiving and confusing.

Watching Jordan replay Alan Wake 2 and I'm seeing so many things I missed before. I've been writing an analysis of this game since it launched, and I still feel like I need a few more play throughs to digest certain parts.

Just had a data transfer get corrupted. Also just canceled my cloud storage backup. I lost the entirety of the game I've been working on all summer! All gone! Thankfully it was placeholder visuals, but I have to rewrite everything else from scratch now. Pain!

I saw Busta Rhymes perform earlier tonight. He was great, but he had AI generated video playing behind him through his entire set, including AI generated celebrities wishing him well and saying that they loved him. It was atrocious. Even his own music video clips were AI filtered

I wonder if we could hit 10,000 by the end of the year. I am kind of mortified by the idea of ever having a “large” channel, mostly because any time we have a successful video or post it brings out the worst chuds, but it’s nice to connect with ppl who like what we do.

Lately I am feeling the itch to play guitar again. I bought an octave pedal and have been having a blast just playing single note riffs with no chords. I'm playing on a baritone guitar which is already very heavy. The recording quite doesn't do the enormity of this sound justice.

It's been so many years since I last played this, but I still have every secret location in the first three or four levels burned very deep into my memory. Even though I could rush through levels very quickly, I love taking it slow and exploring, even after so many times through.

Just had a quick 10-minute session with the BALL x PIT demo. Damn! Very addictive. It's a scrolling brick breaker type game mixed with roguelite combat and what appears to be some light resource management/base building stuffs. Very cool!
