Labour promised to deliver an extra 2 million appointments a year as a first step to fix the the NHS.

And they have reached that target in just 5 months.

NHS waiting lists fell for the 4th month in a row in December, despite the usual extra pressure seen during winter and a significant increase in the number of people in hospital with flu.

This is really good news and exactly what Labour promised they would do when they got into power.
