When their first makeout session had driven a shaky, dead white Chuuya to shove him away and spend the next few minutes braced against the floor trying to breathe through waves and waves of inexorable nausea, Tross had said with an unfamiliar ilk of knowing smile after the onslaught had ended and Chuuya was left shivering and glaring at the ground, "I know what you need." He'd pulled Chuuya toward him and clumsily kissed a scored oblong pill into his mouth. It had tasted so fucking godawful, melting like a snow cone under a heat lamp on his tongue and flooding his mouth with terrible chemical flavor, that Chuuya had dry swallowed on instinct. "What the hell did you just give me?" he'd asked, voice crackling with the aftereffects of a throat rubbed raw by all the dry-heaving. Albatross had looked at him for a few moments, uncharacteristically phlegmatic in a way that was almost terrifying, before, after a few heavy-handed, pawing false starts, tilting Chuuya's chin up so their eyes met, not letting up even at Chuuya's instinctive shiver. "It never goes away," Albatross had told him instead of answering, his pupils already blown to high hell with God-knows-what, "but you can pretend. And I'm really good at pretending, Chuuya, so you should listen to me."

In my quest to use Bsky more crossposting a silly #SKK snippet (it's not actually silly though because I don't write happy things /hj)
Excerpt that reads: "That's not what I was thinking," Chuuya snaps reflexively, but it comes out half-hearted. "OK," Dazai agrees easily, and isn't that just enraging? "But I'm just saying, people can't tell." "You could," Chuuya points out bitterly, showing a little more of his hand than he would were he not so... so whatever this is. "Hmm?" Dazai says, tilting his head like Chuuya's just said something silly. Chuuya should really slap that look right off his face. Is going to slap that look right off his face. Or would, at least, if his whole body didn't feel leaden and full of shivers at the moment. He feels cold and hot and long dead and far too alive all at once and it's awful. "Oh, you're really going to make me say this, aren't you?" Chuuya darts a glance up at Dazai again, despite himself. Dazai has an infuriating habit of bringing morbid curiosity out in people that the effect of never quite dulls with familiarity. Dazai rolls his eyes and sighs, before - proceeding to unwind his neck bandages, apparently, layer by layer. "The hell are you doing?" Chuuya demands. "Patience, young padawan," Dazai titters as he holds up a finger, looking positively lackadaisical. It's as if he hasn't gone to insane and pathetically desperate lengths in the past to hide his skin from Chuuya.

Too-long post with contents as follows: I’m actually in the process of transferring AA credits to a 4-year right now and unless you’re trying to get into like. Really Good schools most in my experience have pretty accommodating processes re: transferring credits and don’t necessarily hold you to the same standard of GPA as incoming freshmen (because they can see you have IRL experience in the workplace and have succeeded in a college environment)—even if they’re not the school your community college has an agreement with. I live and go to school in New England rn and the school I’m transferring to is in the West and despite having subzero ties with my community college the whole process has been surprisingly painless and me and my 3.3 GPA did just fine. So I know that universities with Outside processes can seem intimidating but those processes won’t necessarily work against you haha. Also, if you’ve taken the SAT or ACT even though you’re not coming from high school and they’re mostly optional now submitting one if your grades do dip (which I’m sure they won’t) can help a lot if you got an impressive score.
