I was in this exact situation like four months ago and just finished with my hysterectomy. When the progestin did this to me (two weeks of super heavy bleeding and cramps), my doctor had me get off of it immediately.
I'm three weeks post surgery. I promise, it gets better. So, so much better.

I lost my dad a few months before you lost yours. My dad was amazing. Like 27 years as a teacher amazing. I constantly find myself trying to send him articles and links, going to ask questions, or wishing I could show him his old home area again. It still hurts. It should have been so many others.
