Just recently for a class, we were asked to make a gradient map. It was really fun to mess around with the values of the stock photo, especially since I'm currently learning about the use of values in drawing.

I've been watching so many Proko videos since I begun to practice drawing again after a long time of just not doing it. Genuinely, Proko has made me appreciate different art forms more compared to when I was a younger.

Been playing Bomb Rush Cyberfunk lately, never knew how much I needed a new Jet Set Radio in my life until now. Team Reptile did a fantastic job. I can only hope that the new JSR reboot can come even remotely close to this.

Our feature artist/tutorial today is this beautiful pencil test by the talented @rudolpheguenoden! Note how WEIGHT is shifted in ANTICIPATION, and then THROWN to make that spin, and how the movements are aninated as a constant FLOW through the ENTIRE FIGURE! Perfection.

It's been awhile since I did some work in Illustrator, but looking back, I'm really proud of how this Avatar mandala turned out. I'm especially proud of the asset of Raava that I made based on concept art from Korra's artbook.
