The true burden is the ban on carrying on more than 100mls of liquid going back to that other failed bombing attempt. How much sunscreen and toothpaste has been thrown out?? How much time wasted sorting liquids???

Great article and Alito’s constant push for everyone to tolerate intolerance is enraging. It really seems to be his whole vibe - being mad at people who may call he and his wife bigots; because their bigotry is rooted in religion we must all go out of our way to nurture it. Yeesh.

Yes, I mean we all saw this play out in real time when he couldn’t get anyone to sign onto his fake argument so had to tell his own lies, and now SCOTUS just rewarded the DOJ for their perjury. Dark times. But kudos to the whistleblower and let’s hope this opens the door for more.

Yes and as much as some (also me) want to say FAFO, the end message from @timmiller.bsky.social has to be the way forward - now that you see the harms, unite with people you may not love but actually align with in values to oppose it. You have to embrace imperfect allies. No other way.

Grateful to all of you for your work (plus Troy and Josh and Grace) - I laugh, I cry, I scream a little and it helps. Was not sure how the rotating hosts would work (and I miss @roywoodjr.bsky.social) but turned out to be great - different voices, all funny. Much respect.

Great idea! The news aggregators like Apple News seem to do this easily enough - I wonder if your digital paper subscription could have a setting that you can opt in for where news is grouped by subject in chronological order.

As a Canadian who wants to cheer for SGA but feels affinity also for Pascal Siakam due to Raptors being our 🇨🇦 team (RIP Vancouver Grizzlies) this is tough but also win-win. Cheering for everyone.

No - I heard both Vedder and Springsteen & they did not talk 💩 about Trump they spoke about the issues they care about and things that Trump is doing that hurt people which they, as good people, oppose - no lies, just facts. Admin chooses personal attacks instead of debating the actual issues.
