Renters can't wait for the government to get their act together on the housing crisis.
We need urgent rent control measures to protect renters from unfair hikes by landlords.

📈 Some tenants are facing rent hikes of up to 88%.
The government ended temporary rent controls - and renters are paying the price. The Scottish Greens are standing with tenants and pushing to reinstate rent controls until permanent protections are in place.

Without investment in local access officers and support for access forums, the rights established under the Land Reform Act are being undermined. In Parliament, I raised concerns about the lack of dedicated funding for access rights enforcement.
