As @dahlialithwick.bsky.social stated in this interview, an executive order is akin to “letter to Santa”. Whether the actions are legal is clearly not a concern to Trump and his loyalists, who seem to think the Constitution is optional.

When I taught in higher ed, every single mainstream criminology or criminal justice textbook mentioned some form of critical race theory. Critical theories are literally part of those disciplines’ canons, as well as essential reading in so many other academic fields.

VERY important: ICE still needs judicial warrants before they can go into nonpublic areas. Not “administrative warrants.”
IMPORTANT--DHS removing restrictions on activities at schools, churches, hospitals etc does not eliminate the Fourth Amendment right to demand a judicial warrant for access to non public areas. This is guidance for DC, old put still in effect as far as I know oag.dc.gov/sites/defaul...

Every single school board, town/city/county council or board of commissioners, etc. that passed an MLK resolution on 1/20, or publicized some ceremony or event honoring MLK, or used MLK’s image/words to promote its agenda or cause, should be on the frontlines defending communities from ICE.
